인천대교(사장교)를 보며 아름다움을 느끼듯, 입체 속에서 줄은 장력을 받는 지점에서 하나의 선으로 치환되어 면과 선의 흥미로운 관계를 전달합니다. 세 작품은 이러한 텐션 미학을 기반으로 만들어졌습니다. 아트피스들에 사용된 와이어 줄은 소재인 동시에 힘을 이루어, 우리에게 견고한 구조와 각도마다 첨예하게 달라지는 간결한 형태감을 선보입니다. 장력을 가질 때의 소재의 절약, 장력을 가지지 않을 때의 해체, 조립의 용이성, 더 나아가 척력과 인력의 조절을 통한 무수한 형태로의 발전 가능성을 품은 텐션 아트퍼니처를 선보입니다.

Just as you can feel the beauty of the cable-stayed bridge, the cable in the structure is replaced by a single line at the point of tension, conveying an interesting relationship between the solid and the line. The wire rope used in the art pieces gives us a strong structure and a concise sense of shape that varies sharply from angle to angle. I'd like to show tension aesthetics through my series.
