폴리우레탄은 일상생활에서 흔하게 접하는 소재는 아니지만 자세히 살펴보면 우리의 생활에 많은 도움을 주는 소재입니다.
기능을 위해 태어난 이 소재의 특징을 활용한 무언가를 제작하고 싶었습니다. 우레탄의 가장 큰 특징인 독특한 탄성을 잘 보여줄 수 있는, 사람의 무게를 버티는 스툴을 제작하게 되었습니다. 소재의 특성인 텐션에 집중할 수 있게 하고자, 가장 간결한 조형으로 제작하였습니다.

I wanted to make something that takes advantage of the characteristics of this material that was born for its function. I have created a stool that can show the unique tension, which is the biggest feature of urethane, and that can withstand human weight. I wanted to find the simplest form to focus on the tension, which is the characteristic of the material.
