초는 꺼져있을 땐 오브제가 되고, 불을 붙이면 그 자체가 조명으로 변합니다. 또한, 특유의 감성으로 그 어떤 조명보다도 따뜻하고 은은한 분위기를 조성합니다. 이런 매력을 생각하니 초야말로 가장 심플하면서도 우아한 조명이라는 감상이 들었습니다. Cho는 아날로그 감성의 초를 사실적이지만 현대적인 기법으로 재현하고자 3D 프린터로 제작됐습니다. 촛불처럼 따스한 빛을 만들고자 했으며, 촛대는 전통적, 현대적 요소를 고려해 재해석했습니다. 촛대에 Cho를 올리면 불이 켜지는 인터랙션을 적용시켜 감성과 즐거움을 함께 전달하고자 했습니다.

I was impressed that a candle is the simplest and most elegant lighting ever. Cho was made with a 3D printer to recreate the analogue candle with a realistic but modern technique. The candlestick also reinterpreted it considering traditional and modern elements. By applying an interaction that lights up when Cho is placed on the candlestick, I wanted to give metaphor and joy together.
